Introducing this week’s featured user – Menthoids. A self described jack of all trades, this Sydney born user has tried her hand at millinery, making kids’ clothes and writing, however at the age of 44 she decided to officially finish school and complete a degree in Biomedical Science before moving on to a medical degree.
Menthoids is fascinated by physiology (how the body works) and pathophysiology (the mechanisms of disease), so it’s not suprising that she is a top user in the
Heart Diseases,
Infectious Diseases and
Medicine Categories, earning more than 7,000 points and gaining a 49% best answer rate since she joined Answers just a few short months ago.Her experience in the medical field allows Menthoids to answer a wide range of questions on all sorts of health related subjects, including
chest infections,
blood pressure and
chicken pox. She can respond to people’s queries about their
cold feet, dispel myths about
stretch marks and even talk
fitness.Along with being a mother and a grandmother, Menthoids’ grand plan is to become a doctor so she’s an incredibly busy woman! But between writing curriculum subjects and studying she does find time to participate on Answers, where she feels she can really help some people with her advice. She enjoys finding questions that involve a little bit of research, so she can learn something herself by accepting a challenge.Congrats Menthoids on being such a great contributor to Answers – we’ll see you around!
