Anyone for tennis?

Just when you thought the excitement of summer was dying down the tennis gets underway – and one can’t help but be a little intrigued as the event builds to a grand finale.
The Australian Open tournament is the first of the four Grand Slam tournaments held each year and offers a share in 20 million dollars in prize money! It’s enough to make you want to pick up a racquet yourself! There are plenty of players picked as potential winners this year – although Henin and Federer are still favoured more than anyone else to work their way into the top positions.
On Answers, there are plenty of questions revolving around the subject of tennis, particularly as there is so much confusing terminology. For example, players are seeded, but their seed isn’t always the same as their rank, which can be difficult to understand, and when they’re yet to score it’s read as ‘love’, which also makes little sense to anyone new to the game. Even the scoring system takes a little getting used to.
If you want all the latest scores and results it’s there for you on Yahoo!7 Sport, or you can just head to the Yahoo!7 Homepage and search for ‘tennis’ or for your favourite player.
