Questions from Summer Bay

You may have noticed we’ve had a few Home and Away stars asking questions on Answers. The most recent is Samara Weaving, whose plays Indigo and is part of a new family in town, the Walkers.

Samara is 17 years old and you may have seen her on BBC’s Australian soap opera Out of the Blue playing Kirsten Mulroney. Although she’s Hugo Weaving’s niece, she hasn’t grown up around the entertainment industry and actually spent many years living overseas because of her father’s job. She lived in Singapore, Fiji and Indonesia as well as Australia and she particularly loved Singapore because it’s so clean (gum is illegal there) and there is no winter.

There are heaps of questions about Home and Away on Yahoo!7 Answers. From questions about upcoming storylines to favourite couple discussions and queries about the music in the show. Well instead of you asking questions about Home and Away, Samara wants to ask you a question. She wants to know:  If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

To see Samara in her role as Indigo, check out the Yahoo!7 TV Home and Away site where you can catch up with all the episodes online and get behind the scenes footage and interviews.

We’d also like to know, which Home and Away star would you like us to feature on Answers?

  3. I have no idea who this person is that wants
to know the best place to be in the world
but I would say New Zealand because the
sights are just absolutely breathtaking and
amazing and there is so much to do such as
skiing, canoeing, rock climbing, tours in
    mountains it truly is beautiful!

  4. If I was very wealthy I would buy a house in Chelsea, London. A nice period home. I would also buy a house on one of the Greek islands as a holiday home probably on the island of Crete and as a current home owner in Newtown, Sydney I would buy the biggest Victorian terrace I could find in Newtown.

  9. If I could live anywhere in the world it would be Australia, but unfortunatley the property prices anywhere you can get a job make it impossible to buy so I guess Ill have to settle for the middle east somewhere.

  16. Canada, because there is so much wildlife & culture there. The accents are cute, and it snows.

Or… Brazil, since there’s so much culture there, beaches, wildlife, festivals, heaps of ppl my age, (since it has the most people 12-18 than any other country in the world), and I’m in that age barrier… and they speech Portuguese there.

  17. Manhatten. It just seems like there is always something to do and it’s right on your doorstep. And a good place to be stylish.

    (vomiting sound)
New zealand is the most discusting place ive ever visited.
Why? Not the greenery or the sights.
    The GODDAMN KIWIS
everywhere. ick they smell and they all have like 17 kids, and live in the same house as all there close relatives (138,99047 people) in a 2 bedroom home.
All drinking out of the bottle of a 20 litre bulk homebrand jumbo milk.
yuk yuk yuk and there accents

  21. I think in Sydney because I love the beaches and the arts, and it is so much more humane than the US, but I would want a good, durable car to make many trips to Melbourne, the mountains, and the desert.

  22. Australia, because of the great culture, natural environment like deserts, rain forests, beaches and mountains. The weather is good all year round. There are many festivities in the various cities such as Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. There are many different cultures and many different ethnic backgrounds who call Australia home. It’s good to see so many different cultures come together and share this magnificent country Australia.

  24. tricky, thats a little racist of you. Australia is a great place to live, as is many other places, Australia is also a multi cultrual country, so it doesnt matter what background you are, or what your sexual preferences are, if you move to Australia through the right channels and do the right thing, anyone, no matter what colour you are, what background you are, if your gay, bi, lez or straight, if you do the right thing, you would see australia is great!..butthead

  25. Well I live in australia and it would be my first choice but other then aus I would choose united states because there are so many places to see. So many states and mexico on the border, mexico would be my first holiday spot if I lived in the states.

To the person bagging out new zealand and bagging the kiwis how rude of you. It is there way of life every culture lives differently. If anything you should respect the new zealanders they are such loyal people and as family they stick together. Something that should be looked at with respect. Keep your opinions to yourself.
