More from Dr Demartini

The ever popular Dr John Demartini is back this week, again with a question about your love life.

This week the relationship guru and contributor to the bestselling dvd and book ‘The Secret’ wants to know what is the most significant thing that you are grateful for in your relationship? Less than half an hour after Dr Demartini’s question was posted there were already more than a dozen responses from the Answers Community that make you believe that love truly is what makes the world go around. Love is a truly global topic, and it’s nice to see that there are so many people from all walks of life who are managing to maintain happy and harmonious partnerships and are grateful for what their other half has to offer.

Here’s the footage of the man himself asking you his latest question –

Who needs Super Nanny?

I got a good laugh after reading the question asking “My darling daughter has painted her eyelids and lips with nail polish, how can I clean it off?” and was even further amused by the fact that it isn’t the only question of its kind posted under the Toddler and Preschooler category on Yahoo!7 Answers. It seems kids love to freak their parents out by getting into the nail polish.

The first years of raising children can be extremely difficult, like sailing through dangerous uncharted waters without a map. It gets easier with experience of course, but the first time round a lot of parents feel it would be more fun to sail a ship across open seas with no basic knowledge than to figure out how to get small children to eat their vegetables or how to put them in bed and convince them to stay there!

Advice from others is priceless, and hearing their experiences can make all the difference when dealing with the wailing, stamping and other dramatic behaviour that is characteristic of two year old temper tantrums. While each child is different, they are also very much the same, and can be encouraged in similar ways to give up their security blanket for good or to sit still on a long plane ride.

Why suffer as a parent when you can turn to Yahoo!7 Answers for help? If nothing else you can be comforted by the fact that there are other people in the world who have the same nail polish disaser stories as you!

Goodbye Anna Nicole

1170997359-sc-9801

The week has ended on a sad note with the death of celebrity former playgirl Anna Nicole Smith. The intriguing blonde was never out of the spotlight for long during her life, and she made many headlines recently after the birth of her daughter and sudden death of her son of a drug overdose. Her own death was met with disbelief on Answers early this morning, and there has been much discussion about it throughout the day.

On a brighter note – things have been getting a little romantic on Yahoo!7 Answers in the lead up to Valentine’s Day, with users asking others for inspiring gift ideas as the day draws closer. We have also had a question from relationship expert Liz Tuccillo – writer of the hit show Sex and the City and co-author of the best selling book He’s Just Not That Into You. Liz is convinced there is a huge drop in the market for singles over the age of 30 and she wants your ideas on how to overcome the problem.

Keep an eye on Yahoo!7 Answers next week for more Valentine’s Day featured questions!
